Polyurethane foam plants have become very spread as the application of expanded polyurethane foam has marked a turning point in the industrial and building insulation fields, imposing its technologic validity. It is mainly used in foaming machines for pre-fabricated panels in both continuous and discontinuous process.
Discontinuous panels line
The discontinuous process is adopted in insulation panel plants for panels of different thickness and dimensions. Hydraulic presses able to produce panels up to 14m long and 200mm thickness are used in a discontinuous panels line. Both rigid and flexible substrata, with smooth / grooved profiles are used, according to customer's needs.
Continuous sandwich panels line
The continuous sandwich panels line allows a large scale production of different type of panels with flexible or rigid substrata. For industrial production, a continuous panels line is certainly more convenient for both the quality and quantity aspects over the discontinuous process. The most current foaming systems using c-pentane as an alternative blowing agent are provided in the continuous sandwich panels line, with specially designed safety systems to avoid any possible explosion danger.
Foam block plants
OMS Group manufactures foam block plants for both the continuous and discontinuous production of rigid and flexible foams.
Plants for discontinuous block production
BB series is used for rigid and flexible foam and is simple to operate even with non-specialized personnel. The plants for discontinuous block production don't require large space and are of easy assembling. Particular attention is given to environmental issues: besides using CFC-free blowing agent, the BB series does not need any solvent for washing.
Plants for continuous block production
This kind of polyurethane foam block plants adopts multicomponents metering systems with computerized realtime control of formulation through. Engineering and construction concepts applied by OMS Group to the plants for continuous block production allow the end-user to program the automatic cutting, conveying and storage lines.
